BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global education leader Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) recently announced Richard A. Carranza as the recipient of its $10,000 scholarship for higher studies in education. Carranza, who is currently the Deputy Superintendent of the San Francisco Unified School District, will be using the scholarship toward his pursuit of an advanced degree in educational leadership. Supreme Court Justice, Sonia Sotomayor, delivered the keynote address at the event.
